Ballina 2023
Marks 300 years since the formal establishment of the town by O’Hara, Lord Tyrawley.
To mark this milestone, a series of public events will take throughout the year, offering opportunities for the communities of Ballina to connect, to celebrate Ballina and communicate a new narrative about the town and its people.
Our programme includes events like Mayo Day 2023, the Mayo.ie Western People Women’s Mini-Marathon, Connacht Fleadh & Festival, ‘Communities Creating Change’, an International Climate Conference in partnership with the Mary Robinson Centre, a spectacular Macnas Community Parade, live music performances, arts, cultural and sports events and much, much more!
