We had our wedding here (for 85 guests) in early 2016 and absolutely loved it. We arranged the whole wedding while living in England but the team made sure this was no issue and always replied to emails quickly and fitted our appointments around our trips to Ballina. It didn’t feel like we had much to arrange at all as the package we chose from the website included everything we wanted and more. Once we had met Rachael we knew we were in safe hands and had every confidence that our wedding day would be something special.
We were able to visit a couple of months before the day to enjoy the pre wedding taster menu which was really impressive and we were spoilt by the quality of the food and wine. All the options were of a high standard and included a vegetarian choice.
The customer service was incredible! We had lots of guests from England who wanted to stay at the hotel for 2-3 nights and they were all impressed with the rates, bedrooms, food and most importantly how they were made to feel so very welcome. The venue is really child friendly and the children enjoyed exploring the hotel as well as using the leisure facilities.
The majority of our guests arrived the day before the wedding and it was the hotels idea to arrange a private dining area for us. Everyone had a three course meal, the service was perfect and it and set the tone for the rest of the stay.
I stayed in the spacious honeymoon suite before the big day as well as on the night which meant I was able to enjoy it properly with my bridal party. Our hairdresser and make up artist came to the hotel on the morning and were brilliant (Lorrells hair and Mystique beauty).
We chose the Brusna Suite to hold our Civil Ceremony and were taken back by how beautiful it looked on the day. The soloist we chose (Brenda Grealis) added to the feel of the ceremony and there were a few emotional moments.
Our photographer (June Walsh) took advantage of the stunning grounds and we were able to walk through the gardens and have the backdrop of the trees in our photographs.
When we saw the ballroom for the first time on the day we were really impressed with the decorations, especially the top table. Once again the food and the service was great and the team thought of everything. Later on the band performed our first dance and did a great job of getting everyone on the dance floor during the rest of the evening finishing off with a disco until the early hours.
Would 100% recommend this place to people looking for a wedding venue.

Firstly we would like to thank Rachel, David and all the team at the Twin Trees Hotel for a fantastic day full of happy memories.
From the very first phone enquiry with the Twin Trees Hotel we encountered enthusiasm, efficiency and friendliness. This continued in the meeting with Rachel and David in the drawing room of the original house in the Twin Trees Hotel. The stately light filled room gave a preview as to the level of service that we would receive in this hotel. In the ensuing meetings Rachel, David and Laura facilitated us in tailoring a wedding reception package that would meet our needs and budget. Each experience and dealing with the hotel prior to the wedding was a pleasure, some of which included: previewing a prepared ball room for ideas, checking cake stands as to their suitability, taster dinners and previewing table plans. The big day floated by smoothly. We were blessed on the day with good weather. As a result guests enjoyed the sparkling wine reception outdoors in the idyllic grounds of the hotel. We also took advantage of the wonderful gardens for our family photographs. Wedding guests enjoyed the delicious meal which was efficiently served by the pleasant waiting staff. The menu seemed fresh and many people commented that the food was top standard. The ballroom and tables were tastefully decorated in a classic and timeless style. Some guests also mentioned that their rooms were very comfortable with some enjoying views over the river and water fall.
Rachel, David and the staff were on hand at all times during the day to help in any way. We are both so glad that the Twin Trees Hotel catered for us for our big day. Some family members have celebrated their weddings there in the past and we hope that this tradition will continue. Thank you to Rachel, David and all the team at the Twin Trees Hotel for a fantastic day which was enjoyed by all.

We were looked after so well by Rachael and all the staff, from the minute we met to discuss booking our wedding all the way through to the day after our wedding. They made the process so stress-free. The meal was delicious and service was impeccable. I cannot recommend the Twin Trees Hotel highly enough. The professional yet personal service we received was second to none!

We held our wedding in the Twin Trees Hotel on 31st July 2015.
We loved the location of this hotel the moment we seen it, it’s beautiful gardens which were ideal for our photographs. We also liked the fact that this was a family run hotel and added to the personal touch which is exactly what we were looking for.
The food was simply delicious,all our guests raved about how amazing and plentiful it all was,
You were also very helpful on the lead up to the big day, with great ideas on the seating plan which worked brilliantly! And the attention to detail was second to none, the function room was beautifully decorated

Thank you to all the Staff for their marvellous efforts which made our Wedding Day very special for us and all our guests. Our Civil Ceremony was held in the Hotel Dining Room. Then our Wedding Reception was held in a larger room. Both rooms werebeautifully decorated with flowers, Candles and coloured down- lighting, whichreally created a lovely atmosphere for the proceedings. The food was excellentand all guests needs were catered for and plenty of second helpings asrequired.
Most of the guests stayed over night and the rooms were very spacious warm and comfortable with family rooms available too.
We were more than happy with the generous and great value Wedding Package provided which included Room Décor, Welcome Buffet with wine, 5course Meal for 100, Live Band followed by Disco, Accommodation for us andbridal party, etc, etc
The staff were pleasant at all times and always willing to help, many of our guests are still talking about what a wonderful wedding it was. So l cannot recommend Hotel highly enough for a wedding. The Event Co-ordinator Verity was excellent and efficient and listened patiently to all our requests and provided everything we asked for and even more at times. She made adjustments quickly at short notice to table plans, and to music chosen, and was constantly reassuring at all times during the day which reduced my stress completely. So l cannot recommend the hotel highly enough for a wedding.

For anyone planning a wedding I could not recommend this Hotel highly enough. Management and staff could not do enough to help us in the lead up to the wedding and nothing was too much trouble. Everyone from our guests to our Bridal party were well taken care of and the food was just fantastic. All other hotels will offer modern amenities but nothing beats the way the Moylett family will give you and your guests the service and home away from home atmosphere that we received.
