Hello Delia Murphy Friday 21st February, 8pm A celebration in story and song of the iconic Delia Murphy, renowned singer who gave the Irish ballad international recognition and ensured its everlasting appeal. Hello Delia Murphy is a recollection by Carmen Cullen, author and niece of Delia Murphy, and commentary on the pivotal role she played in the history of Irish music and song. The show features some of Delia’s much loved and remembered favourites such as The Spinning Wheel and If I were a Blackbird, sung by actress and singer Maureen O'Donovan, with music by Gerry Anderson.

Presented in partnership with Arts & Disability Ireland No one remembers mousey old Sue, the undertaker from Bingley Bridge.  No one knows she’s a Diva fanatic, until one day she is offered a cabaret spot at Harry’s Place.  Overnight, Tammy Frascati is born and Sue finds herself hurtling to stardom and Las Vegas, signing the songs of her favourite Divas, Billie Holiday, Dusty Springfield, Ella Fitzgerald & Gloria Gaynor. But, as success beckons a handsome stranger pierces Sue’s heart.  What does she do? Can she have both? Caroline Parker gives a virtuoso performance as Sue and her alter ego Tammy ...

Peg O' My Heart

Peg O’ My Heart Riverside Theatre Company Friday 28th February, Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd March, 8pm J. Hartley Manners’ long-running Broadway hit from 1912 tells the story of Peg, a poor Irish girl from New York, who gets the surprise of her life when the death of a wealthy uncle summons her to England. Her aristocratic aunt agrees to 'finish' her upbringing, but Peg is not about to forget who she really is, and the battle of wills begins! Ballina-based award-winning Riverside Theatre Company, return to the Ballina Arts Centre stage with this humorous and fun-filled romp, under the direction of Ray Collins.
